What When, Where?
It's a Three Day Pioneer Hiking & Camping expedition, open to all youth in the Stake turning 14-18. It will take place July 11th – 14th, 2022 at the beautiful, yet rugged trails surrounding Martin's Cove in Southern Wyoming. Participants will dress up like pioneers, join together in Families and Companies, pull handcarts, play games, and camp outdoors. Transportation to and from the Trek site will be provided.
What to expect
You will have fun! You will be needed. You will be tired. You will be glad to be there. Along the way you will come to know your Savior better and feel the Holy Spirit. You will appreciate the strength and sacrifice of the early Saints, and you will better understand the need to be your own kind of "pioneer". You will gain a stronger testimony of the Gospel and a greater feeling of gratitude for family at home. You will increase your understanding of your self worth, realize you can do more than you thought, and gain new friends and grow in unity with your Stake family. And did we say you will have fun?
How To Prepare

Important Dates
• Youth Temple Trip – Date to be determined
It was "the fire of the covenant" that was a motivating force for the saints to cross the plains. Youth are encouraged to prepare family names to bring to the temple.
• Stake Youth Dances
We intend to develop some square dancing skills during Stake Youth Dances... don't miss the dances.
• Hit the Trail – July 11th – 14th, 2022
Bring your gear, packed and ready to go, to the Stake Center and we will head out.
• Trek Reunion – Date to be determined
Come back and visit with your Trek Families and Friends.
